Oral Communication Certification in Legal English or French

Tests must be passed within 60 days following registration

Two (2) years following the issue date
Listening Test
The LT assesses oral comprehension in Legal English or French.
The test must be completed in two hours and is composed of sound clips from authentic situations in the courtroom and a series of questions related to each excerpt.
Speaking Test
The ST assesses oral expression in Legal English or FrenchThe test is conducted in real time as a web conferencing interview in the language to be evaluated with a team of two evaluators: a linguist and a specialist in the legal field. The test is recorded and lasts about an hour. The exchange involves a legal document to be read in the preferred language of communication of the candidate at the very beginning of the test.
